City Pregnancy Counselling & Psychotherapy (CPCP) is a service located in the centre of London that provides a safe, professional, confidential and non-judgmental space for women, men and couples to discuss their difficulties with pregnancy, pregnancy loss and related issues. It is staffed by a volunteer team of professionally qualified and experienced counsellors and psychotherapists and those currently undertaking their training.

If you are experiencing any of the following issues, we can help:

  • Are you pregnant, whether it is a planned pregnancy or an unplanned pregnancy, and need to talk to someone?
  • Have you suffered the loss of a child through stillbirth, miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy?
  • Are you or your partner suffering from antenatal depression or postnatal depression?
  • Are you anxious because you are about to become a mother or a father for the first time?
  • Are you experiencing problems conceiving or coming to terms with infertility?
  • Have you experienced a traumatic birth?
  • Do you need to talk following a termination of pregnancy?
  • Have you given up your child for adoption?
  • Have you lost contact with your child following a break up with a former partner?
  • Is your current relationship suffering because of these sorts of unresolved issues?
